Setup in 4 steps
A FitMyType setup has 4 steps: Feeds, Widget, Events, Verify. Do them in this order. On Shopify, the FitMyType app does most of the work for you: follow the Shopify app guide and come back here for step 4.

1. Feeds
FitMyType needs your products, their sizes, your orders and your returns. On Shopify it reads them from your store (Connect Shopify). See Step 1: Feeds.

2. Widget
Put the size button on each product page: the Shopify theme block, or one script and one element on any other site. See Step 2: Widget.

3. Events
Send add to cart and orders, so your dashboards can show what the size help changes. See Step 3: Events.

4. Verify
Check that the button shows and that events arrive: the Verify button of the snippet generator checks your live events by client ID, and Tracking Debug in the back-office shows each event as it comes in. See Step 4: Verify.
Before you start
- Your client ID. It is in the back-office under Settings › Account.
- Your shop domains added in the back-office. The widget answers only on those domains.
- Access to your theme or page templates.
