Step 4: Verify

The last of the 4 steps. Check the button first, then the events.

The button shows

1. Open a product page of a product that has a size chart in FitMyType.
2. The size button shows where you put it. Click it: the size finder opens.
3. If it does not show, follow Widget not showing.

Events arrive

1. Accept analytics cookies on your shop, view a product, add it to the cart and place a test order.
2. On the snippet generator, enter your client ID and choose Verify. It shows whether FitMyType received events from your shop in the last minutes.
3. In the back-office, open Tracking Debug (Integration › Tracking). Each event shows within seconds, with its size and whether it has a tracking id.
4. If an event is missing or has no tracking id, follow Events missing tracking_id.

Debug logs

Add debug: true to the tag's config to see each event in the browser console, with any field the intake would refuse. Remove it when you are done.
